Boxes of remnant fabrics and yarn found in the attic are magically being transformed into something useful.  It was news to me that one could combine quilting skills with crochet to create a lovely fusion blanket.

A fusion blanket is when you create quilt blocks and join them with crochet borders.  How pretty are these?  I got the pattern and followed the amazing tutorial at Fanny Lu Designs!
Quilt blocks for fusion quilt - Quilt blocks and crochet
I am taking my time arranging the quilt blocks.
Each quilt block is 6″ square.
I cut my blocks on a cutting pad that was found in a box in the attic.

Bookmark this page and return later to learn how my fusion blanket turns out!
